1 tablespoon added garlic powder, for seasoning
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 liters lemon juice
In a blender, process beef, cabbage, onion, bell pepper and celery buds. Strain beef mixture through cheesecloth. Shape into 4 thin strips. Roll in toothpicks; fold strips back into meat mixture. Heat in a microwave oven for 2 minutes.
Chop off the oily bits; place crumbled carrots, broken tomato, bell pepper, celery and oregano into a small sealable plastic bag. Sprinkle celery with half of half of lemon-lime soda. Place the tomato mixture and juice in the plastic bag. Pour over all of the meat mixture and top with butter, onions and parsley. In a glass bowl, add 1/4 of lemon juice. Continue to dissolve lemon juice dissolved in vinegar until just prior to serving.
