So glad I found this recipe! I like green beans anyway, but it is nice to see how someone else prepares them. I used the regular cooking broth and it was pretty good. I used the fresh green beans and drained them on the stove. I believe I used about two cups of green beans. I think next time I make it I will reduce the broth to a reasonable simmer so I will keep it under 2 cups. I got asked for this recipe as a gift so I gave it to my santa! s/he nailed it! I made it exactly as shown. It takes awhile to cook but was so tasty! I wish we had bought more than one pound of fresh green beans! I made double batches for friends and they all wanted to try it. Will definately make it again!
