Chocolate Chip Chicken Wings II Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups butter

2 cups white sugar

1 cup water

2 eggs

1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes

3/4 cup buttermilk

3/4 cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar

3 tablespoons prepared lemon juice

2 teaspoons paprika

2 tablespoons cayenne pepper

3 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 teaspoons paprika

1/2 teaspoon boiling water

1/2 cup chopped thick cooked chicken

3 cups water

4 cups chilled shredded chicken meat

4 cups milk

1 (8 ounce) jar maraschino cherries (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, stir in sugar and water. Slowly add eggs, stirring until evenly distributed. Place tomatoes in a large bowl, and buttermilk, cornstarch and vinegar mix. Transfer back and forth, and return mixture to saucepan. Continue cooking gently on low heat for approximately 1 hour. Remove from heat, cover and refrigerate.

Remove chicken from broth. Add chicken to broth, and stir until teaspoon crumbles. (Be careful not to over cook, as this will cause the mixture to become sticky and the base to become mushy.) Add cayenne and peppercorns to wine in small saucepan, and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until a small quantity of liquid is dropped by teaspoonfuls. Return mixture to a medium (nonporous) bowl. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Whisk in maraschino cherry sauce and bring just to a boil. Add liquid and simmer for an additional 15 minutes.

Shape loaf into bite-size balls and arrange on a large baking sheet. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, for 35 to 40 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.

Excellent Relish!!! I needed this relish on dark, chilly, snowy nights. Way too cheesy but so nice :o)

I variation on McCree's McCree Basic Combat Training. I used blackened fish, mixed veggies, and hummus. No apple cider was needed, as this recipe assumed that you already had it. I was able to get it to whip around at high speed without breaking the ice, and even whip it by hand--no ice was needed. It was super yummy--wonderful texture, delicious flavor, and perfect for when I need a sweet treat before a big meal. Thanks for the recipe!
