3/4 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double row
1 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup white sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheet.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and milk. Beat in flour, baking soda and salt until well blended. Mix in 1/2 cup sugar and egg whites. Add flour mixture, mixing just until, but not all the way. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool completely on baking sheet before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
