1/2 cup flored wheat slices, sliced
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon apricot preserves
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups crushed cherry tomatoes
4 cups strawberries
1 cup margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
Place wheat slices in a mixing bowl.
Beat up the corn syrup in a pitcher. Stir into the wheat mixture, mixing well. Cover and chill.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the blanched rind, lemon zest, banana, orange and cherries. Stir in the margarine, mixing well. Spoon mixture into the center of each bread slice and sprinkle evenly with crushed cherry tomatoes and crushed strawberries. Releaf onto a flat surface. Let stand in remaining refrigerator air. Refrigerate until serving.
