1 3/4 cups diced onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (8 ounce) can German lentils
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
1/8 teaspoon white sugar
Place the onion and celery in a large bowl. Add the green bell pepper, lentils, mint, sugar, and the water. Mix together well.
