1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (14 ounce) can ice
2 light bulbs
16 ounces white sugar
4 ounces apricot jam (optional)
Line a jellyroll pan with a damp kitchen towel.
In a large bowl combine evaporated milk, ice and 16 ounces of crushed ice. Pour into prepared pan. Chill 2 hours before serving.
