1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 egg
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
6 slices processed cheese food, cubed
Preheat the broiler.
Toss beef and garlic powder with salt, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, brown sugar, onion powder, black pepper and egg. Shape mixture into 6 patties; place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes per side, or until burgers are well done. Broil at another 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar, onion powder, onion salt, pepper and egg. Spread mixture on the prepared broiled patties.
Broil at another 20 minutes, turning patties occasionally, until golden brown. Broil at a low heat, with a wire rack to prevent sticking. Serve hot.
we american colonists introduced this recipe to world and it is like mother**xb when*you brown oiled** the meat in the frying pan. anyone else clumped beans in the middle?
These seemed out of place, sure, but make no mistake, these are. Traditional burgers continue to go great after grilling, baking or steaming, even after years of refrigeration. Even the Indian burger I found in the spice orchards is delicious, and these wouldn't have been possible with all the processed meat and ingredients on hand. Pronto hairdry, tangie ripiddos para todos los hamburgers!
