2/3 cup finely chopped onion
6 warm water
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 slices crispy bacon
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 teaspoon chopped lemon
1 cup chopped pitted black olives
1 (8 ounce) package pineapple chunks
In a large bowl, mix together onion, water, oil, brown sugar, salt, bacon, cream cheese, lemon juice and olives. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
Stir cream cheese and lemon into cream cheese mixture. Pour over vegetables and toss to coat.
Garnish sliced olives with pineapple chunks.
