1/2 cup butter
1 (3 ounce) package blueberry flavored Jell-O mix
2 cups water
8 maraschino cherries, quartered
Place butter in a saucepan and place over a medium heat. Bring water to a boil and immediately remove from heat. Stir in gelatin and cook until melted. Pour mixture over kettle set on medium heat and mix, stirring constantly. Return to a lower temperature.
Bring water to a boil and remove from heat. Add gelatin and cook until thickened. Stir in cherries and boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Chill maraschino cherries in refrigerator. Sprinkle maraschino cherry flowers over maraschino cherries.
