2 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups Italian-style white wine
6 slices fresh bread, cubed
In a saucepan bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in oil, butter, and vanilla. Pour over bread cubes.
