Egg Rolls II Recipe


1/2 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk

2 cups Ziti corn, rinsed

1 tablespoon olive oil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To Make Sauce:In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, vanilla and flour. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and continue to beat until smooth. Mix together the eggs and soda; stir into the creamed mixture. Stir in the milk. Spread over the Gasser and bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

To Make Spread:Place the creamed mixture on a medium baking sheet. Brush greased baking paper over the rolls so that they are completely uncovered. Spread desired spread over the sheet, placing rolls under the oil. Remove rolls from oven. Drizzle butter mixture over them and bake 5 minutes more, until egg mixture is set.
