2 pounds bacon
2 eggs, beaten
4 cups milk
1/2 cup lard
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 (15 ounce) can green beans, drained
1/2 pound bacon strips
Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain grease, and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat eggs and milk together. Stir in lard and sugar until well blended. Fold in brown sugar. Press onto the bottom of a casserole dish or plate. Cover, and freeze overnight.
Preheat grill for medium heat.
Lightly oil grate. Place bacon grease on the grate. Brown 1/2 inch thick slices of bacon, about 4 slices. Remove the bacon, and grease the grate. Serve pork chops on the side, or toss with greens to finish.
