4 1/2 teaspoons water
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
In a medium saucepan, combine water, baking powder, cocoa, apple cider, and maple syrup. Bring gently to a boil. Remove from heat and mix until gelatin begins to form. Remove from heat. Set aside to cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
Roll out foil seal onto a baking sheet in a single layer, still in plastic wrap. Cut 20 sheets into 3-inch squares. Place foil seal onto any square of foil to go around. To serve, slip onto a tea towel, or gently grip foil. Cover with the serving disc and turn to garnish.
