1 (18 ounce) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup vegetable oil
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Divide pineapple into two pieces. Cut sides into quarters. Place pieces of pineapple to 1/4 inch thickness. Place pieces of pineapple on bottom of a cookie sheet. Sprinkle with pineapple juice and pineapple sugar.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine crushed pineapple with pineapple juice and pineapple sugar. Dissolve salt, vanilla, oil and sour cream. Stir together. Pour over pineapple.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes or until pineapple is tender. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
