1 1/3 cups apple pie syrup
2/3 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon white sugar
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup raisins
1 cup peanuts
1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
In a medium saucepan, mix apples mixture, vinegar, sugar, vinegar, salt and vanilla. Place onto a wide, glass serving dish.
In a 2-quart saucepan, warm remaining apple mixture until slightly warm. Mix in raisins, nuts, oil, vinegar and white vinegar. Sprinkle evenly over pie. Chill 1 hour before serving.
