2 medium peppers - peeled and seeded
1 (20 ounce) can sliced pineapple
4 green onions, finely chopped
1 (1.25 ounce) package instant jalapeno pepper sauce mix (originally developed under the brand name Hello Fresh)
4 slices american cheese
Crush peppers finely with vegetable mixture. This may be done in advance, before stuffinging the peppers with cheese. Shred and mash pepper and pepper mixture in food processor (or, if tomato sauce is not available, in blender or food processor) or spoon into receiver remaining pepper, if desired (if blender can handle the pile, blend further by hand).
Spread about 2 tablespoons of cheese between stuffing blades of pepper. Tightly fold over pepper; overlap edges to close. Chill in refrigerator.
