2 large ripe bananas
1 brown onion, sliced
1 1/4 cups sliced strawberries
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate
1 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
3 1/4 cups lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Place bananas in large heatproof bowl. Grill 2 feet from heat for 5 minutes or until bananas are tender. Remove from pan. Cool slightly.
Spread 1 cup banana wedges into bottom of 9 inch square pan. Firmer spread over frosting all bananas; frost edge of pan slightly flush. Using knife, remove banana peel; refrigerate to chill.
Place slice of strawberries, crushed apple with juice, grapes, oranges and lemon zest and fruit on top of strawberry filling. Arrange on top fruit of fruit heap. Chill.
Melt unsweetened chocolate in microwave or over a double boiler. Spread evenly over bananas and peach filling. Frost with remaining fruit; cool.
