4 ounces lean ground beef
4 large onions, chopped
2 large carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces
1 (10.75 ounce) can tomato paste
1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
8 ounces Italian sausage, diced
1 (4 ounce) can whole mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
Preheat grill or broiler. Season with garlic powder and parsley; brown well.
Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, until evenly browned. Stir in onions, carrots and celery.
Stir tomato paste, corn and sausage into skillet along with tomatoes, mushrooms and butter. Cook roughly to boiling; stir in bread crumbs. Reduce heat to low; cover. Cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
