12 ounces skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/2 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 small onion, halved lengthwise
2 slices bread; cut in 2
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon onion powder
4 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes, drained and sliced
1 cup Light cooking olive oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1 (6 ounce) canoranges, drained and sliced
1/8 cup lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place chicken at a random 5 inches from flat side face, making sure that the chicken is cooked through. Arrange the cheese, onion, bread, salt, onion powder and tomatoes in a single layer on the bottom of a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until chicken is browned. Remove foil and pour chicken into dish with all the juices. Bake another 15 minutes and remove foil. Spoon lemon juice over chicken.
