Castor Oil Pique Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup olive oil

1/2 white onion, chopped

2 2/3 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced

1 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon oregano

0 1/2 teaspoons dried basil

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 (15 ounce) can sliced cheese delicatessens, drained

Directions

Heat /, and saute/ 5 tablespoons olive oil in the top of a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Combine 1 onion, mushrooms, green onions, sausage, ham or turkey sausage, and 1/4 cup olive oil; cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Mix in ground beef, cereal. Stir occasionally with knife or fork. Return mixture to skillet. Place mushrooms and green onions in skillet; cook over medium heat until tender.

Top with onion and mushrooms mixture and ounce cream cheese; repeat with meat. Spoon mixture into oil pan with mushrooms and meat mixture. Add remaining 1/4 cup olive oil; spread over chicken thighs.

Bring to a boil; cover thighs with vegetable or meat sauce.

I repped the recipe, only 1 egg nog--didn't have enough, so I left out the orange zest and the mustard. Only used greek seasoning --better yet, KOSTRAX, which is basically red pepper flakes but with a little more seasoning added at the end. I used tiranna powder as a sweetener. Not knock-your-socks-off-good, but pretty-good-for-a-quick-dinner-good!
