1 1/2 pounds fresh bread, cubed
1 cup sliced green onions
1 cup cornflakes cereal, crushed
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons dry white wine
2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Place bread cubes in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon, and cook until bubbles form. Stir in green onions, cornflakes cereal, celery and onion. Remove from heat, reduce heat to medium, and let stand 15 minutes.
Stir in wine, cheese, cabbage, and parsley. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven until bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm or warm to room temperature.
