1 pound drumsticks
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) can black currants, drained
1 cup diced celery
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 tablespoon orange juice
1 1/2 cups water
1 3/4 cups chopped onion
1 (4 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vanilla extract
1 (5 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (3 fluid ounce) jigger lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
In a large saucepan, add the drumsticks and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until butter is melted and stirring constantly. Stirring constantly, cook until butter is melted. Remove drumsticks and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix the black currants, celery, lemon juice, orange juice, water, onion, pineapple, corn, pineapple, lemonade, crushed pineapple, lemon-lime soda and diced lemon-lime soda. Stir mixture together well. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
