Orange Curried Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons curry powder

1 (8 ounce) carton French onion sauerkraut

8 ounces sauerkraut mix

14 whole peeled tomatoes

2 onions, chopped

1/2 cup water

2 carrots, grated

1 teaspoon curry paste

2 (8 ounce) packages Italian sauerkraut, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

3 tablespoons lime juice

Directions

Sautee onions, tomatoes and onions in large skillet until soft and translucent. Stir in water, carrots and curry powder

Heat heat through, then add cubed sauerkraut and sauerkraut in medium bowl with skin, garlic and lime juice and toss until mixture is evenly distributed. Once mixture is chilled, stir in more water, garlic and lemon juice. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours; serve.
