1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 (flat) inch thick sliced onion
1/4 cup water
salt to taste
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix the margarine, ground beef, onion and water and cook until softened. Stir in flour, cornstarch and water. Cook, stirring, until mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Pour into a muffin tin and bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
