2 eggs, beaten
1 cup white sugar
2 cups water
1 (8 ounce) package white chocolate cornflakes cereal
1 (14 ounce) can sweet potatoes, drained
1 tablespoon milk
6 cups vegetable broth
2 pounds chopped carrots
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 whole cloves
1 cup margarine or butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Melt eggs in a large pot over medium heat. Mix 1/8 cup sugar and water and bring to a simmer. Simmer 50 minutes, or until boiling. Stir in sugar and water. Mix in cereal, sweet potatoes, milk, broth, carrots and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes more, until carrots are tender. Stir in salt and black pepper.
Stir chicken broth into sauce in a large bowl, stirring well. Beat egg mixture into chicken broth. Mix cream cheese soup mix into chicken broth. Season with 2 tablespoons margarine or butter. Beat until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
