3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon lard
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped celery
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard or an equivalent
1 tablespoon ketchup
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and honey. Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and immediately stir in lemon-lime soda. Let cool to lukewarm.
In a shallow dish or bowl, stir together lard, oil, horseradish, oyster sauce, parsley, onion, celery, celery, lemon peel, onion, celery, celery, mustard and ketchup; coat well. Pour sauce over fish and serve immediately over steaks in oil roasting pan.
