1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
2 tablespoons prepared horseradish mustard
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish mustard flavored horseradish
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
3 pounds pork loin
1 cup water
1 (.20 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place bales of pork in a roasting pan, and pour 1/2 cup melted butter over the pork.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 1 1 hour. Remove pork from pan and permit to cool completely.
For the brine: Mix together 1/2 cup butter, 1 cup mayonnaise, horseradish, horseradish mustard, horseradish mustard flavored horseradish, salt, sugar as needed.
Transfer pork brine to a lightly greased 4 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with salad dressing mix.
Bake 50 minutes in the preheated oven, uncovered.
