4 pounds small cabbage, shredded
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried basil
6 slices Dijon mustard
Beat the cabbage, basil, rosemary, marjoram, mustard, and salt together in a large bowl. While the mixture is mixing, divide the mustard between two bowls.
Prepare a heavy layer of mustard on the bottom of a large serving bowl and stir the cabbage mixture into it.
Spread a layer of cabbage mixture on all sides of the cabbage layer. Place a layer of cheese over the cabbage if desired.
Place a layer of cabbage over the cabbage layer and top with the radicchio. Serve with mustard sauce and tomato-based salad dressing.
