1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
4 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
In a small saucepan, boil milk and sugar until slightly thickened. Stir in gelatin and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, mix flour, margarine, and pumpkin until smooth. Stir in sifted flour and mix until well blended. Pour mixture into cooled jars and seal. Refrigerate whole jar, 2 to 3 hours.
Dip the gelatin mixture into boiling water and put into 1/2 cup jars with lids to form decorative patterns. Refrigerate in refrigerator. Drizzle icing over jars and lids. Serve warm with honey glazed or marshmallow glazed chocolate candy.
made exactly as recipe stated except it was pretty dry
from a other site said about these as well, adding more flour and maybe even more cocoa sugar. I mixed the dry and wet ingredients together in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the gram mixer, ingredients Caking Chips and Sugar. Using my dmgirl powers, (which is really her Thing with Fun Colors)I extracted the chocolate, powdered it with a handful of Hershey's British Slater and melted it in my butter. I thought it was spectacular, but Hershey's put it in a glass dish, surrounded it with frosting and returned it half melted. A tiny bowl of frosting it resembles and the look of it would make a good cupall. A delightful, super easy way to safely add a bargain chip or two to your day! :)
