1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
salt and ground black pepper to taste
In a large bowl, mix the orange flavored gelatin mix, lemon juice, olive oil, wine, soy sauce and sugar. Stir well, then cover and chill in the refrigerator at least overnight before serving.
In a small bowl, combine the marjoram, basil, salt and pepper. Saute over low heat for about 1 minute, or until the sauce has reduced by a third. Stir in the marjoram mixture. Serve over fresh pasta.
