2 pounds fresh mushrooms, stems removed
2 onions, chopped
4 tablespoons olive oil
12 tablespoons canned tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
Tear the mushrooms and onions into bite-size pieces. Place the pieces, along with meat, tomato and cinnamon paste in a shallow baking dish.
In a large skillet over medium heat combine the nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir the mixture slowly, then add the mushroom and onion pieces and cook until all is heated through.
