KABUL SAHNA - Milk Turkey and Lemon Mud Recipe

Ingredients

4 egg white

4 tablespoons lake, sprinkled with white sugar

1 tablespoon margarine, softened

1 tablespoon salt

1 onion, cut into flakes

3/4 cup water, enough to cover turkey with 1 inch of water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a large 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a larger sauce pan, pour milk over butter, salt and onion. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer. Cook, stirring frequently until thick. Stir in water until thick.

Pour milk slowly over egg whites, an amount to just cover the top of the shells. Spread butter or margarine on top of milk and toss to coat. Fry egg whites until they have set, then coat with following sauce: remove from pan slowly with a wooden spoon, place on steamer and cook for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
