2 cups wild rice
1 teaspoon butter
1 cup light brown sugar
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups cooked wild rice
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 (20 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium saucepan, combine rice, brown sugar, olive oil, onion, wild rice, milk and mushrooms. Cook over medium heat until heated through. Pour sauce over rice.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until rice is tender. Serve hot.
