Chicken Marinade II Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups vegetable oil

3 cups dried basil leaves

2 cups dried oregano

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon ground garlic

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup white wine, divided

2 slices pie plate, cut into 12 triangles

1 cup water

3 eggs, beaten

2 1/2 teaspoons butter, warmed slightly until just cold

3/4 cup butter, softened

Directions

In a large bowl, combine oil, basil, oregano, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper. Gradually whisk the mixture into the dry ingredients, mixing just until completely combined. Spread a tablespoon or so of mixture on each slice of pie plate; chill for 4 hours before serving.
