1 (9 inch) pie crust recipe
1 pint soft goat cheese, cubed
1 egg
1 cup cherry pie filling
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon small cream
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
6 cups cherry pie filling
1/4 cup butter
Freeze 1 gallon of frozen pie dough. Spread goat cheese onto one third of dough. Press half of dough down into filling.
Beat egg and 1 cup cream with heavy mixer until smooth. Gradually mix cornstarch with 1 cup cream into room temperature mixture. Spread evenly into pie crust. Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over top of dough.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Adjust oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for longer lasting.
