1 1/2 1/2 pounds whole cod
1 cucumber
1 (6 ounce) can frozen blueberries
5 green bell peppers, thinly sliced
3 1/2 ounces saltine crackers, crumbled
1 stalks celery, finely chopped
4 teaspoons dry white wine
1 small egg, peeled and beaten
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Place all ingredients in a bowl.
In a saucepan place the juice of the red bell peppers over the cod, covering well. Bring up the heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes, making sure to remove any excess water.
After the pork has cooled for a little while, strain it through a colander or sieve and pour in the meat juices and water. Simmer for about 2 to 3 hours.
