1 cup shortening
2 cups milk
2 egg whites
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup raisins
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup flaked coconut
1 (12 ounce) package peanut butter chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening and milk. Stir in the egg whites until blended. Gradually stir in the chocolate chips and raisins. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets, 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing from baking sheet to cool on wire racks.
