Leftover Lemon Bars Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 1/4 cups unsalted butter, softened

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 egg white

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

1/2 cup white sugar

4 tablespoons milk

1/2 cup lemon juice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan. In a medium bowl, combine flour, butter and baking soda. Beat in salt and 1 cup brown sugar. Stir in egg white and vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly toasted. Remove from oven and sprinkle with lemon juice.
