Honey Lemon Bar Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup quick-cooking shortening

1 cup white sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

1/2 cup shortening

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

2 cups HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

1 cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa Powder

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup unsalted butter

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In large bowl, cream together shortening, white sugar and flour. Stir in baking powder and baking soda. Stir in salt, shortening mixture, eggs and vanilla. Stir in cocoa, chocolate chips and pecans. Stir just until dry ingredients are combined. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 12 in the preheated oven for 4 to 5 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to wire rack to cool completely. Immediately turn cookies out onto wire rack and cool completely.

HERSHEY'S Sweetened Condensed Milk

2/3 cup HERSHEY'S World-Chocolate-Honey-Lime-Lime-Lime

In 2 jumbo containers, combine condensed milk and sweetened condensed milk. Place chocolate and chicken in medium bowl, and stir to coat the mixture evenly. Refrigerate until ready to use.
