Chocolate Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate cake mix

1 (8 ounce) can sliced marshmallow creme

1 (1 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, cake mix, marshmallow creme and vanilla pudding mix. Mix until smooth. Spread mixture into baked pastry shell.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake an additional 10 minutes. Cool completely.

To make the frosting: In a mixing bowl, beat the whipped topping, pecans and pecans together. Frost pie layer.
