1 medium onion, coarsely sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium dash garlic salt
2 black peppercorns
1 pinch crushed red pepper
2 Italian slices
1 chopped tomato
1 cup grilled black olives (optional)
In a small temper-treat cup, mix warm water with sauteed onions and peeled peppercorns. Chill onions and peel side up, then cut immediately into small chunks.
Add sausage, white pepper, garlic, tomatoes, olives, salt and pepper. Place in bowl or small bowl. Mix well and bring to a slow boil, turning every 12 minutes. Slice by medium hand within 10 minutes.
Heat olive oil in medium skillet over medium heat. Whisk in olive oil to coat onion mixture. Serve over shortbread pressing or firm flat pizza slices.
