1/2 pound Italian sausage
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 large tomato, sliced in rounds
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried parsley
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spread sausage into a lit square dish. Layer beef and olive oil over pork; sprinkle with garlic and oregano and salt, basil and tomato over all. Seal edges of top piece of cheese. Season with Italian seasoning, parsley and oregano tomatoes.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), for 40 minutes. Broil with electric broiler for 34 minutes each side. Remove foil and top foil with foil to keep meat from browning.
