1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1 quart butter
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg, beaten
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
1/2 cup cranberry juice
4 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in egg and pecans, mixing just until. Spoon into pastry shell.
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Chill before cutting into squares.
