1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 ham for roasting
1 pound pita bread
1/4 cup olive oil
In a large bowl, mix basil, parsley, oregano, rosemary, sage, marjoram, dill weed, ham, pita bread, olive oil, onion, and salt. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to develop.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Roast at least 1 hour in the preheated grill, turning every hour. Grill 15 minutes to 30 minutes on each side. Remove ham from oven and pita, and place on platter. Serve with sauce.
