Corned Beef Steak II Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound beef loin, sliced

1 medium red onion, chopped

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried oregano seeds

1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

2 teaspoons salt

1 (16 ounce) can Portuguese wine

1 (4 ounce) can beef broth

1 pinch ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Place the sliced beef into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour Worcestershire sauce over the beef in the dish and season with olive oil, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, oregano seeds, basil leaves, salt, steak sauce, beef broth and pepper. Divide meat among three dishes. Cover and refrigerate overnight to marinate.

Return to the refrigerator and place steak meat on racks. Cook 2-3 hours on each side or until internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F (70 degrees C).
