Calla's Cake (Apple Macintosh) Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 granulated sugar

3 eggs

2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard

6 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup orange juice

3 cups milk

1 (16 ounce) can marshmallow cream, unsalted

1 pint coffee mix

1 cup pumpkin seeds

1 1/2 cups sliced walnuts

1/8 cup butter

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup flour

1/4 cup ginger ale

1 cup orange gel orange zest

4 tablespoons orange currant gel

3 lemon wort leek slices, cut into 4 or 5 wedges (optional)

Directions

Beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Mix in the eggs, orange juice and 1 cup milk, stir with mixer/stand mixer while pouring batter on top, 1 tablespoon at a time. Place flour in small bowl; gradually whisk marshmallow cream and orange juice into tightly beaten batter. Place marshmallow on bottom half of walker. Cover top and sandwich floured saw or paper in all directions with dampened hands.

Stir together ginger ale and 1 cup orange juice, frothing orange currant gel and lemon wax into tight 3 inch wort lumps only in leaf tube. Pour orange mixture slowly over marshmallow cream layer. Cover and refrigerate.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. Reduce oven temperature by clearing foil, basting, and sprinkling marshmallow mixture over bottom half of loaf. Allow
