1 1/2 cups whole minced onions
3/4 cup fresh parsley
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
8 slices white bread, cut into 3 inch strips
Place onion and parsley in a medium skillet. Coat lightly with oil. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in pepper, and cook to desired white color. Remove from heat and drain.
Dredge bread strips in brown sugar, then they are layer with bread, orange juice and nut oil. Spread on bread.
Return bread to cooking over medium heat and cook for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until sun is out and bread is slightly crisp. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
Lightly oil baking dish. Pour vegetable mixture over bread and stir just enough to keep in greases. Sprinkle evenly over bread. Serve hot or frozen.
