1/4 cup olive oil
1 pound pork sirloin steak, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1 cup fresh tomato juice
1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 small onion, chopped
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried basil
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook steak in olive oil until browned; drain. Stir in tomato juice and mushrooms. Pour over steak and stir fry until juices are absorbed.
Stir in green pepper, bell pepper and salt. Sprinkle with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, sage and salt and pepper. Sprinkle all over meat.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
