1 cup remaining Grits cereal, reconstituted
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup
In a large bowl, mix the remaining grits cereal, sugar and salt. Make a well in the center, and pour in the egg and butter. Beat until so that they are thoroughly combined, but not clumped. Mix in the corn syrup, continuing to beat well as you stir. Form the mixture into a slurry, milk or egg white consistency. Refrigerate until cool enough to handle.
